MY Brother-in-Law was MURDERED
THIS MORNING at @ 5:30 AM

We are all in shock and in need of your prayers. He was my age... well he would have been in December... we always used to tease about the fact that I was older than him.

We don't know all of the details - but He is my wife Osella's Little Brother and we have been friends ever since Osella and I got married.

He lost his wife to cancer around 14 years ago and was to get married to Kathy Pauley next month.

As I said, we are all stunned here, and we need prayer for the extended family so that the murderer will be found and brought to justice. There is a great deal of NO ANSWERS from the Police, but we have a good Police department here and I'm sure they will get to the bottom of it as a great deal of speculation is flying. Pray Hard for the answer to be forthcoming soon!

My brother-in-law's name is Charley Lonjers, and he is survived by a daughter Christian, a Son Phillip (In The Military), 5 Grandchildren, 4 sisters Osella Clabaugh, Charlene Bowen, Gail Bowen, and Jill Kovar.

Then the news reached us this morning at about the same time where we heard that one of my son's friends was killed in a car accident last night at about 2:30 AM. He had a new Corvette and what we hear is that the brakes locked up and flipped the car and he died at the scene. He was just in his 30's.

SHEIKHUPURA, PAKISTAN -- A young Christian maid was raped and burned to death by the son of her Muslim employer in the industrial city of Sheikhupura, the second murder of a domestic servant in Pakistan's Punjab province in less than two months, investigators confirmed Thursday April 1.

Kiran George, 20, was allegedly burned by suspect Muhammad Ahmed Raza last month because she became pregnant and wanted to report his "months of sexual abuse" to police, according to published statements and Christian advocacy and aid group .

"When she became pregnant Muhammad Ahmed Raza refused to marry her and burnt her alive by sprinkling petrolover her," .

Raza could not immediately be reached for comment, but police said they launched a criminal investigation against him and others involved in the case.

George died March 11 at an intensive care unit in the nearby Mayo Hospital Lahore, just days after she arrived there with over 80 percent of her body burned, doctors said.

LAST STATEMENT

In one of the last recorded statements to police, doctors and Christian rights activists, Kiran George said Raza was assisted in the burning by his mother Zahida Bibi, who employed her.

She whispered that the incident happened after Raza asked her to come to the roof top of his house.

"I was thinking that Raza might propose to marry me...But when I reached the roof I saw Raza and his mother Zahida holding a [jerrycan] of petrol [and both] were very aggressive," George recalled.

Soon after, she claimed, Raza threw gasoline over her and set her on fire. "In a few seconds my whole body was covered in flames. I was shouting for help but nobody came...I ran downstairs for water, but I fell down saying: 'Please for God's sake save my life',".

Speaking from her death bed, the young woman said a brother of Raza, Ahmal, intervened and rushed her to hospital. She alleged that the rich Muslim family "bribed" police "heavily" not to launch procedures against the suspects, according to the statement  "They are just waiting for my death."

CHRISTIANS PROTEST

After her death and an autopsy, her body was brought to a slum area of Sheikhupura, where her impoverished father George Masih, a laborer, and her mother Haleema Bibi a house wife, were accompanied by demonstrators demanding justice, Christians said.

They blocked a road demanding that police would detain the suspects and threatened not to remove or bury George's human remains before the arrests took place, explained  representative Rizwan Paul.

"Then police talked with the demonstrators and assured them that the culprits would be found," 

The latest burning incident came after another Christian maid, 12-year-old Shazia Bashit, died January 22 after alleged abuse by her Muslim boss.

TORTURE CLAIMS

Her family claims she was tortured, but the employer, a lawyer and a former head of the Lahore Bar Association —says she fell down stairs, and died January 22 "of complications from a skin disease."

In a seperate case, Christian domestic servant Martha Masih, 33, was raped by possibly three police officers in a police station of the town of Rawalpindi, March 19, after she and her husband refused to convert to Islam, several Christian and law enforcement officials confirmed  Her husband, 38-year-old driver Arshed Masih, was reportedly burned outside the station and died of his injuries March 23.

The cases have underscored concerns however over the situation of Christians and other servants in Pakistan, often children and youngsters working on average for $50 a month.

They can also be seen at the edges of birthday parties and nights out in fancy restaurants serving children of wealthy parents.

Pakistani advocacy groups say the root of the problem is poverty but there is concern that tougher legislation would do little to improve the living conditions of desperate young people from the countryside looking for work and money for their destitute families.

Uncle Marvin Jones needs prayer, now. He is in the hospital, and will undergo a biopsy today to determine if he has lung cancer or not. There is already some indicators that, if it is cancer, it may have spread to his brain and his liver - perhaps the biopsy will help the doctors to get a handle on this situation for sure. His health situation is very precarious, in that several weeks ago, he had to be revived on the operating table while undergoing work on his heart. His wife Mary and the rest of his family needs uplifting as well, and I trust the prayer warriors will include them as well, as they approach the throne to ask Him for His grace, mercy, and peace on this situation.

She and her Husband Bob were Missionaries to Japan for more than 30 years.
The Funeral is Wednesday in Battleground,Wash.

we are creating this group in hopes of a miracle. we know the power of prayer can do that and with god all things are possible, so we really need your help, even if this sounds crazy to you. our sister ashley, who is twenty one has swine flu and is very sick. she went to the hospital on thursday and since then, everythings made a turn for the worst. first she ended up with an pneumonia in both of her lungs. they are completly filled and she is in a coma with a vent breathing for her. then her kidneys failed and they put her on dialysis. her temp has been clear up to 105 and they've had to put ice blankets on her to keep it down. now they say there is a staff infection in her lungs. she just had a heart attack and they are trying to figure out what caused it, only 25% of her heart is functioning, it's supposed to be at 60%. they think it could have been caused by the baby, a postpartum thing that happens at 3 months after the birth. this is where we are now. this is all happening so fast and all at once. we never pictured this. she has two little kids, our niece who is two and our nephew whom is only three months. it's so unreal, like this is all a bad dream. two weeks ago, we were at the park with our children and now she's in a hospital bed with tubes and machines surrounding her, so helpless. so please, please spread the word in prayer chains in hopes that everyone who reads it will say a prayer for her. the more prayers, the better. every little bit helps. it's been an up and down battle and she fighting, and we know the prayers are helping. thank you all so much for the love and support. hopefully soon, she pull through this and read all of this and see how many people love and care so much about her.

My name is Brian I am working in Qatar. On December 6th I was terminated from my job. My wife and children are residing with me in Qatar My daughter is studying in the 9th std in an Indian school in Qatar.
 
Brother My wife works for a hospital in Qatar since I lost my job she has applied to her hospital to take her under her sponsorship her papers are under process it got rejected the first time she re applied again still we did not get a reply please father pray that her papers get processed as my company is just waiting for her passport so that they can cancel all our visas. If her paper is processed she can continue working in Qatar.
 
My other worry is my daughter is studying in the 9th and she has her final exams fro the 14th of march till the 21 of march please pray that my company holds me back so that at least my daughter can complete her exams.
 
since I lost my job we have many misunderstanding in the family we husband and wife fight every day because both of us our tensed we don’t know what will be the result my wife is too impatient she looses her temper fast .
 
please Brother please pray for us also please reply which verse I should read in the bible or what pray should I recite in this situation.

We are in need of a professional laminate floor person.  Our floors here in Battle Ground are buckling and becoming a hazard to our clients that come in.  Does anyone have experience in possibly fixing the floor or know of someone that would be willing to fix it?
Do you knit or crochet?  We are in need of baby booties for our positive test bags we give out to the new Mom’s.  We have patterns here if you need any, for crochet or knit.
